What is psychodynamic psychotherapy?

Psychodynamic psychotherapy is a method of psychological help that is based on the theory that we develop patterns of behaviour of which we are unaware, based on our early experiences. Through the development of a relationship with your therapist, together you will gradually uncover and understand the unhelpful patterns of behaviour, how they affect your current life, and through this understanding change will become possible.
